Sun in Sagittarius on Thanksgiving followed by the Full Moon In Gemini on Saturday
Can you believe that another month has gone by, and here we are again at another sign, another full moon and another turning point? The Sun just went into Sagittarius on Thursday - the day of Thanksgiving. Did you know that Sagittarius is the sign that has to do with Expansion and Travel? Well - Thanksgiving is the biggest travel day of the year, and we certainly do expand during the biggest eating day of the year!

Just notice the glyph (symbol) for Sagittarius - it even looks like a jet plane...Sagittarius' statement is "I Seek" -- so this is the time when we will be seeking higher experiences - it is associated with studies in college and beyond, as well as esoteric studies, philosophy and Religion. Many of us feel a Spiritual expansion as we enter the Christmas Season...
And "Land, Land, Give Me Lots of Land! Don't Fence Me In!" that is the cry expressed in the image of the Half-Man, Half-Horse. This is the time when everyone gets a little restless, and we all want to move around, visit friends and family, and broaden our horizons. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, who was the King of the Gods in ancient mythology. Jupiter is considered the largest planet in the Solar System and is a benefic (positive) planet. I saw a film recently on the Expanding Universe, and it showed how Jupiter protects the Earth like a shield from the onslaught of meteors that come into our solar system. Jupiter is considered the Cosmic Santa Claus, and is also called the Guru Planet in India. So Sagittarius people, being fire signs, are energetic, freedom loving and love to have fun. They are usually very sharp-minded as well.

The Full Moon (which is always in the opposite sign from the Sun, remember?) was in Gemini at 8:30 am this morning, Saturday. I tend to write these blogs when I feel inspired, and nothing gets the emotions and spirit going like a FULL MOON! It was so brilliant last night as it lit up the sky. Since Gemini's statement is "I Think" and has to do with the lower mind (monkey mind chatter), and Sagittarius statement is "I SeeK" and has to do with Higher Mind, this next two weeks going towards the New Moon will be about getting in touch with what you are really thinking about - watch your predominant thoughts and think about what will truly make you happy, joyous and free! Your thoughts create your reality, so let them expand like the Full Moon!
By the way, the new astrological calendars are out now and if you order them (Or buy anything on Amazon.Com) through this blog, I will get a little credit from Amazon.
Please Press the Button at the top left of this blog (near the banner) -- it has a picture of The 2008 Daily Planetary Guide. It will tell you when the Full Moon, New Moons, and Mercury Retrogrades are!
Enjoy your expansion...
More will be revealed!
Love,
Christina
