Jupiter, the Great Preserver

So here we all are in our happy little Solar System.

But what makes it even happier is that we have a Giant Planet named Jupiter,
that serves as a shield, a protector and preserver of the Earth.

Without Jupiter, the Earth would be bombarded with larger objects, like comets!

Remember in 1994, when the Comet Shoemaker Levi hit Jupiter, and there was a visible plume and several large holes in the Jovian atmosphere?

Well, that was when Pluto went into the sign of Sagittarius, which Jupiter Rules.    It was as if Pluto, the God of Death and Transformation, was being a bully and shooting its arrows straight at the one who is known in ancient Mythology as "The God of the Gods".

Now, since Jupiter and Sagittarius both have to do with Religion, many transformations took place in the world's religions during that period from 1994 - 2008, when Pluto went into Capricorn.    There were great upheavals in the Catholic Faith, as well as Islam, and Judaism.

Zeus (Jupiter) giving Fire To Prometheus

Last week, I wrote that when Jupiter went into Aries (a Fire Sign) and joined up with Uranus in Aries, it would be an explosive combination!

Well, thank you to my friend Deb Moore, who sent me this link talking about how Jupiter got hit AGAIN by a comet.

As I told her, I wish those big boys who are hanging out in the outer planetary "hood" would stop throwing stones at each other!

But, as we all know, History Repeats Itself.

See how connected we are with the planets?

More will be revealed!
