What? ANOTHER Full Moon in Aries? Yes -- Here "I Am" Again!

Seems like only yesterday we were all  "Howling at the Great I AM!"  - the Full Moon in Aries.

(If you forgot, you can read two blogs ago!)

Well, Full Moons happen when Sun and Moon are in opposite signs.
So, when the Sun was at 0 Degrees of Libra, and the Moon was in 0 degrees of Aries,
back about a month ago, it was a Full Moon with a birthing kind of energy to it.

Also, the Sun was sitting right between Virgo and Libra.  And the Moon was sitting
right between Pisces and Aries.  So it had a very interesting mix of the
Sun in Earth / Air Energy and the Moon in Water / Fire energy.

Well, this current Full Moon in Aries, on Friday October 22nd, will be at the
END of Libra and Aries, or 29 degrees, and this will be the mix of the Sun sitting right
between Libra / Scorpio (Air / Water) energy opposing the Moon sitting in
Aries / Taurus (Fire / Earth) energy.  So there may be some closure happening.

It's almost like the universe is trying to show us balance
between the elements, like in Feng Shui.

This balance is also taking place between the Moon in Aries "I Am" energy,
(and who I am and what I want),
and the Sun in Libra "We Are" and who we are in our relationships.

                                 SYMBOL FOR ARIES

The long story short is there is some sort of completion going on.

In fact, it is VERY RARE to have the Full Moon be in the same sign
within a month's time, so there is something significant about this!

Relating to the "I AM" Consciousness, or the Higher Self, one of my favorite stories
is from the Bhagavad Gita, where Krishna (God)
describes the nature of The Self.

Krishna had incarnated as a man and was playing the role of a charioteer to Arjuna, a mighty warrior.

So, there they were, just sitting in the middle of a battlefield (think Gettysburg to the max!)
and all of a sudden, Arjuna, this brave warrior, becomes terrified and too afraid to fight his enemies,
because he can see their faces, and knows that they are his relatives and his teachers!

Krishna tells Arjuna to relax, and that that the Self (atman) of all beings, including the other warriors
on the battlefield, is indestructible.

My favorite quote is:

"Fire cannot burn it, water cannot wet it, and wind cannot dry it.
It is this Self that passes from body to another body
like a person taking worn out clothing and putting on new ones."

On a similar note, one of my favorite chants is Shivo Ham - some of the verses are:

I am not mind, nor intellect, nor ego, nor the reflections of inner self.
I am not the five senses.
I am beyond that.
I am not the ether, nor the earth, nor the fire, nor the wind (the five elements).
I am indeed, That eternal knowing and bliss, Shiva, love and pure consciousness.

I am all pervasive.
I am without any attributes, and without any form.
I have neither attachment to the world, nor to liberation (mukti).
I have no wishes for anything because I am everything, everywhere, every time, always in equilibrium.
I am indeed, That eternal knowing and bliss, Shiva, love and pure consciousness.

So, again, this Full Moon in Aries basically says,

Be the Perfect Self that you ARE,
beyond identity with
"I am a man, or I am a woman,
I am old, I am young. I am rich, I am poor."
Leave all these labels behind and just BE.

My album "Serenity" has alot of these themes.

You can find this on CD BABY link below:

In honor of this Full Moon  - I am sharing my song called "Skin" -
it is about looking at our unique selves and our universal selves.

Chorus says:

"This flesh and blood
This empty space
This spark of Life,
Holy place
Is covered by
Something so fragile and thin.

When you and are
Are open wide
We share a place in this world
A human form,
A spirit bound up with skin."

More will be revealed!

Love,
