Happy Full Moon In Taurus!  The Moon in Taurus this weekend will be
180 degrees opposite of the Sun in Scorpio.




Taurus' statement is "I Have" or "I Possess" -- 
(Reminder from my last blog:  Scorpio's statement is "I Desire")





So the question is, "Do You Have What You Desire?"  

Or more esoterically, "Do You Desire What You Have?"

When you truly appreciate and show gratitude for what you HAVE,
then Life is more peaceful, and one feels like the 
peaceful little bull shown above.

The Buddha was also a Taurus, 
and before he followed a spiritual path,
he was a very weatlhy prince. 

However, he discovered that, even though
he had everything one could possibly
want on a worldly level, he felt empty.

So, he went in search of peace and
gave up everything.

Then he went to the opposite extreme --
and almost died while starving his body!

Finally, when he achieved enlightenment,
he realized that God is in everything,
and that it is ATTACHMENT that causes suffering.

I like the image of the Buddha as a happy, big-bellied laughing guy,
totally enjoying life and yet detached from it all.

Now, Venus, the Goddess of Love, rules Taurus. 

Venus and Taurus are associated with the Throat Chakra.

So, are you speaking your Truth these days?

she is not putting up with any more Bull----.  No pun intended!

Some people think that security and happiness would come
from standing on a pile of money.



But this picture shows that it is lonely and
Life is dry at the top
if we are only motivated by financial wealth.

So, my final blessing to you in this blog is that:

Enjoy the peaceful beauty and abundance that is overflowing in Nature.

That is my favorite experience of Taurus.
