Happy New Year! 

A New Moon, which is when the SUN and MOON
are at the exact same degree in the same sign.
will take place around 3 am Tuesday Morning.



A New Moon (just as the name implies)
is a time of new beginnings, and these new beginnings
are in the area of life related to the SIGN
that the Sun and Moon are both in.

This time, not only the SUN, and MOON are in Capricorn,
but Mars, Pluto and the North Node as well.



Capricorn is the half goat, half fish and is a Cardinal, Feminine, Yin, Earth Sign.

Capricorn's statement is "I USE" or "I BUILD", so what spiritual
tools do you use to build your life?  It is also the sign of Business,
so what Business are you involved in?  And are you minding
your own business?

I use every spiritual tool I can:  Astrology (of course!),12 Step Programs, Feng Shui,
Labyrinths, Light Language, and reading all kinds of spiritual books.

Capricorn is related to the structures in our lives, including TIME --

In the Body, Capricorn relates to our physical structure --
our bones, teeth, skeletal system, and skin.

The planet Saturn rules Capricorn, and Saturn is the planet that literally
"Brings us to our Knees" through the harder lessons of life,
because Saturn is associated with aging process, loss and debt.

Saturn is also the planet that grants wisdom and detachment
as we get older.  That's why some of the world's greatest
comedians have been Capricorns.

So, surrendering to a Higher Power, God, or whatever you choose to call it,
is the key to this New Moon in Capricorn.



Also, perhaps during the past two weeks,
while we were going from a FULL MOON to a NEW MOON,
you might have felt like a deflating ballon,
and this lack of energy took place during
the usually exhausting Holiday season.

I hope you were able to find time to take naps and get enough rest.
Capricorn and Saturn also relate to sleep.

This past season was also combined with Mercury Retrograde, which added
to the Travel Chaos in the North and in Europe, along with
the Floods and Tornadoes around the world. 

Even though the actual Retrograde is over, the Mercury Storm goes on
for another two weeks.  So, drive carefully, and pay attention!
