Happy Full Moon In Cancer! Oh, Mother, Where Art Thou?
This week, we are expanding into a FULL MOON,
which is when the Moon will be in Cancer
and will be exactly opposite the Sun in Capricorn.
This will take place on Wednesday, January 19th,
at 4:21 PM EST.
In the body, Cancer relates to the Stomach and The Breasts.
Cancer is a Feminine, YIN, Cardinal, Water Sign, and is related to HOME and MOTHER,
and our EMOTIONAL NATURE.
These past two weeks have been a very emotional time for our Country,
which also happens to be born under the sign of Cancer,
born on the 4th of July.
With the recent shootings
of a Female Congressman Gabrielle Giffords,
and several of her constituents, in Tuscon, AZ --
including a 9 year old girl (named Christina!)
this event has really been hitting everyone hard.
Many emotional tears (Cancer) have been shed,
and I cry every time I hear another news account of the
courage, and the heroism that took place,
or when I watched President Obama's Memorial Speech.
It almost feels like we have lost our Mother.
Also, the South Node (A lunar point that feels like a bottomless pit)
has been transitting Cancer for a year,
and will finally be leaving Cancer around March 4th,
so this FULL MOON IN CANCER may
increase some of those lost feelings of
Home and Motherhood and Nurturing.
And, since Cancer is related to the Home,
I recommend a Feng Shue treatment to clear out
the clutter in your home.

And, since Cancer is related to clear water,
I recommend taking a hot bath, being near
clear lakes and streams, and eating comfort food!
It is amazing how it often takes a tragedy
to break us open, melt our cold hearts,
and bring us all together.

it was the earthquake in Haiti.
This year it is the floods in Australia.
If we want to feel the Divine Mother
loving us again as depicted below.
we need to send our Mother Earth lots of love!

is another BIG planetary shift going on.
Jupiter, that BIG planet of abundance, and joviality, is going from
Pisces, where it has been the past year,
into the sign of ARIES, the beginning of The Zodiac,
the spark of life, and the Spring.
Jupiter is also sometimes seen as our mother, who protects
the Earth from comets and meteors!
And, this week, Jupiter went into a VOID, or Cusp,
which means it is between signs. Basically, it disappeared energetically!
Hence my title: "Oh Mother, Where Art Thou?"
Jupiter has not yet left Pisces, and is not yet fully in Aries.
And, since Jupiter rules Pisces and Sagittarius,
I believe that Pisces and Sagittarius people
will be feeling especially disconnected this week.
Jupiter will go into Aries on
Saturday, January 22nd, at 12:11 PM EST.
Aries is a Fire Sign, Yang, Masculine, Cardinal Sign that likes to start
new things, so get ready for some new entrepreneurial
businesses and new ways of sharing information!
AND, while Jupiter is still in a void, thus being kind of energetically
spaced out, there will be a lot of mis-judging of information, giving
wrong information, and general craziness in the realm of higher knowledge,
and higher education, which it rules.
CASE IN POINT: The Stupid Hoax about 13 Zodiac Signs this week!
I can't tell you how many people have contacted me about this.
So, let me add my two bits -
For THOUSANDS of years, whether you were the Wise Men who visited
Jesus, or a sailor navigating the seas, you looked up
at the sky - and the planets have always travelled in an arc (called the Ecliptic)
through 12 Zodiac signs - not 13!
These planets never spin off that belt of stars to go into
the constellation of Andromeda or Orion
or OPHIUCHUS ("The Serpent Bearer" - the one in the news) - ever.

And, if you look up Ophiuchus on Wikipedia,
as shown in the picture below, you will notice
Famous Astrologer Johannes Kepler's drawing of a Super Nova from 1604,
which shows a few stars in Ophiuchus' foot
between Sagittarius' Arrow and Scorpio's Stinger.

In other words, His whole body falls ABOVE the Arc of the Ecliptic!
This circle of Stars, or Ecliptic, is also called "The Path of Apollo",
because the planets follow the Sun God Apollo
across the sky.
This is what we know as our Natural Zodiac, and it
is based on a master number 12, which relates to
12 tribes of Israel, 12 Apostles, 12 Months of the Year,
and 12 hours of Daytime and 12 hours of Nighttime.
This 12 Sign Zodiac is perfectly balanced:
It has 6 masculine signs and 6 feminine signs,
6 positive and 6 negative signs,
6 YIN and 6 YANG signs,
3 Water, 3 Earth, 3 Fire, and 3 Air Signs,
4 Cardinal, 4 Fixed, and 4 Mutable signs.
This is a very harmonius wheel, and it cannot be broken.
I mean, think about it --
IF the ancient astrologers had considered
Ophiuchus important enough to include him in the
Zodiac, they would have done so!
This is the kind of mis-information you have to be
careful about, and it is what makes the Internet dangerous.
So I hope this joke or hoax, will die down soon,
because it is probably those people who are
trying to debunk the value of Astrology.
