So this Wednesday, February 2, at approximately 9:31 PM EST, we will have the SUN and MOON
come together as a NEW MOON in the sign of Aquarius. 

New Moons are a time of New Beginnings in the Sign they fall in.



Aquarius is a Masculine, Positive, Yang, Fixed, Air Sign.



Some people think that, because Aquarius is known as the "Water Bearer",
that it is a Water Sign, but actually, he is pouring Knowledge into the Ethers. 
So Aquarius is an Air Sign.





Aquarius takes place during the Coldest
time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere,
so it is related to PURE CRYSTAL AIR -
Just like that icey winter air you see when you breathe out!




The symbol, for Aquarius looks like waves, but it is actually
two Lightning Bolts.  That is why Aquarius is also the
sign of Brilliance, and New Age (thinking outside the box).

There is a lot of Inspiration
and mental activity when planets are in this Air sign.

Aquarius is also the sign associated with Electricity, Electronics,
Computers, Cell phones, The Internet, Groups of People, 
(i.e. Facebook!), Inventions, and of course, my favorite, Astrology! 



In the body, Aquarius rules the Nervous System and the Ankles.

And, not only is the SUN and MOON today in Aquarius, but Mercury
will soon be going into Aquarius, joining up with the
Sun, Moon, Mars, and Neptune in Aquarius!
 
So, if you are having trouble sleeping these days,
it could be due to all the planets in the
Intellectual Air Sign of Aquarius --  I recommend

Also, with all these planets in Aquarius,
I am betting it will stay cold for a while longer.



Hence the title of this blog, "There's a Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On!"  -- BRRRRR!

And because Aquarius is a mental, intellectual sign,
it means we can sometimes get so lost
in our heads, or in the Internet, or in Television,
that we forget to take care of our body.

This year, the New Moon in Aquarius also falls
on Ground Hog Day, the day we find out from
"Punxsatawney Phil" the Groundhog
whether we will have 6 more weeks of winter, or not.

Considering all the heavy snowstorms hitting the midwest, and
northeastern United States, I'm sure there are alot of people
who are wishing that winter were over!

Also, this week, Saturn, the planet related to Aquarius and Capricorn, and is
sometimes known as "Old Man Winter" -- went Retrograde (backwards from
our perspective) in the sign of Libra until June.  So,
 this is also causing so many things to slow down
in Relationships, Businesses, and Governments.
