Well, I feel a little wierd saying "Happy Full Moon" when it is a Full Moon in Scorpio -

That's because Scorpio is the sign of Death, and Transformation,
and there seems to be a lot of Death and Purging around me lately.
Several friends and co-workers have lost loved ones.




 The Full Moon in Scorpio can be Intense!

I apologize for getting this blog out late!  I've been working alot these days.

This Full Moon actually took place this morning
Tuesday, May 17th at 7:09 AM EST. 

We usually feel the effects for two weeks until the New Moon.

This Full Moon is the time when the Moon in Scorpio
is opposite the Sun in Taurus, which are the two money signs.

Taurus statement is "I Have" and is about personal values and possessions.

Scorpio's statement is "I Desire" and is about other people's money -
Banks, Mortgage companies, Financial institutions, Wall Street, Taxes,
Inheritances, AND the Lottery!

Here is a light hearted song
to go with the Scorpio Full Moon,
which I wrote with my co-writers, called

Money is Energy.  It flows like currents - that's why it is called currency!



Both Scorpio and Taurus are fixed signs, meaning they are hard to budge.

They are also both feminine, YIN signs, so the
Full Moon energy is more internalized in its expression.

Scorpio is also a water sign so it is more emotional. 

So, this is a very powerful, intense Full Moon!

Also, with Neptune in Pisces, (another water sign which rules the Ocean)
we have recently seen a lot of flooding in the middle of the USA,
in the Missisissippi River.

This is also called the Buddha Moon, since The Buddha was born on the
Full Moon in Scorpio.  He was a prince who came to realize that attachment
to things was the basis of suffering in this world.




It is also the Birthday of my beloved teacher, Baba Muktananda Paramahamsa.
His main teaching was "God Dwells WIthin You As You."
