Happy New Moon In Cancer! Home Is Where The Heart Is.
So, Here we are again - A New Moon!
(Alot of this will sound familiar, since during last year's New Moon in Cancer,
we had a Solar Eclipse then as well.)
This New Moon coincides with a SOLAR ECLIPSE.

A Solar Eclipse must have been terrifying to the ancient people!
The Sun was their God, and it probably looked like God was being killed by some mysterious force.
Well, that force turned out to be the Moon.
In Astrology, the Sun represents our Inner Spiritual Essence, our Divine Self.

The MOON represents our Emotional Nature.
So when the MOON comes between the Earth and the SUN,
we human beings are likely to be driven by, overwhelmed by,
and focused on our emotions, rather than focused on God.
This could be an emotional time for alot of people,
especially expressing strong feelings of patriotism for
one's Country -
After all, this is the weekend of the July 4th, and the United States
is a Cancer Country, astrologically speaking,
born on the 4th of July!
And THIS year's New Moon / Solar Eclipse in Cancer will be especially significant
because there will be a Grand Cross in the Sky with all the Cardinal Signs --
making us feel like we are in a Boxing match
Between Sun / Moon in Cancer,
Opposite Pluto in Capricorn,
and Square to Saturn in Libra, and Uranus in Aries - Yikes!
These are heavy planets to be in the Boxing ring with ---
Just think Restless, Irritable, and Discontent!
As you may already know, a New Moon is when the SUN
And the MOON
are in the SAME SIGN - so, right now the Sun is in the sign of Cancer
Hence, this New Moon will be about creating new things related to the sign of Cancer.
During the next two weeks, the focus will be on Mother Earth, Birth Mothers, Motherhood,
Nurturing, Self Care, Emotions, Family, Home, Security Blankets, Homeland,
Boundaries, Safe Havens, Nourishment, and Connecting with the Past, just to name a few.
In the Body, Cancer relates to the Breasts and the Stomach.
The Stomach is where we feel and hold our emotions, which Cancer rules.
Mostly, Cancer relates to all things concerned with MOTHER and HOME.
Hence the title of this blog,
"Home is Where the Heart Is!"
This is the perfect time to connect with Mother Earth, to send her our blessings, and love.
So, once again we say, "THANK YOU, DEAR SWEET MOTHER EARTH." .

Cancer is a Cardinal, YIN, Water Sign - and is related to CLEAR WATER - pools, rivers, lakes and streams.
