Happy Full Moon In Aquarius! Does Anybody REALLY Know What's Going On?
So here we are again - Another Full Moon!
This one occurs this Saturday, August 13th, at 2:58 pm EDT.
The Full Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon are in Opposite Signs.
Right now, the Sun (as well as Venus and Mercury)
is still in Leo, which is a Fixed, Yang, Masculine, FIRE Sign.
Of course, the Sun in Leo falls during the HOTTEST time of the year.
The Moon will be in the Opposite sign of Aquarius, which is a Fixed, Yang, Masculine, AIR Sign.
The Sun in Aquarius falls during the COLDEST time of the year.
So, you could say that this FULL MOON OPPOSITION
is between HOT PASSIONS vs COLD INTELLECTUAL DETACHMENT.
Of course, many people think that Aquarius is a Water Sign
because it is called the "Water Bearer."
Actually, he is pouring knowledge into the ethers. Hence, AIR is related to
the Intellect, not watery emotions.

And, even though it's symbol sometimes looks like waves,
the sign for Aquarius is related to Lightning Bolts,
so it sometimes brings brilliant flashes of inspiration!
It is also associated with electronics, electricity, computers, the Internet,
Utopian societies and groups of people, and anything that is Way Out There,
like Star Trek!!
Aquarius also Rules Astrology!
Aquarius is the sign related to groups of people --
like "hanging out with your peeps at the local watering hole."
In the Body, Aquarius is connected with the Ankles and
the Nervous System, which is our own Electrical System.
With this Full Moon, we also have two opposing voices -
Leo, the Lion, and the King of the Beasts, likes to say, "I'm In Charge!"
Then, Aquarius, the Rebel, likes to say "Nobody's in Charge, But I say so!"
Uranus, which is associated with Aquarius, and Rebellion, is in Aries right now.
And Aries falls right at 0 degrees in Greenwich, England.
Hence, we have alot of Rebellion going on in England right now.
Aquarius is the sign that likes to Challenge Authority Figures.
Leo's Statement is "I WILL."
Aquarius' statement is "I KNOW."
So, this Full Moon will also be the opposition of
our Will (Leo) versus what we Know (Aquarius).
Just because I Know something, or try to use my Will to achieve something,
doesn't mean Life will always go my way.
Hence the title of this blog - "Does Anybody REALLY Know What's Going On?"
In fact, we need to Surrender to the Unknown a lot more these days!
We cannot even totally rely on our minds these days,
or what we think we know, because
It's that time again - MERCURY RETROGRADE!

To Re-View our Mythology, Mercury was the Messenger of the Gods.
Mercury is related to the Mind, and from our perspective, whenever
the planet Mercury is going backwards, it causes all kinds of confusion
and breakdowns in Communication.
Have you noticed any breakdowns in Communication - in Wall Street? The News? Congress?
I have been re-tracing my steps, re-turning to places and rooms
I just walked out of, re-visiting friends, re-connecting with old projects.
Remember that Mercury is also the Court Jester!
Be sure to take life lightly!
AND, BTW, Just a re-minder - This is NOT a time to start new projects, go on trips,
sign contracts, or move forward with a business.
And be sure to use that SPELL CHCK - OOOPS!
I believe that Mercury Retrogrades are GOD's way of SLOWING US DOWN.
That's why they take place 3 - 4 times a year.
So Re-member! Take this time to RELAX, REVIEW, RECHARGE Your Batteries,
and BE in quiet places to calm your energy down these days.
