Happy New Moon in Libra! Life in Balance
I apologize for not getting this out sooner. My life has gotten so busy lately that I even had to borrow
a lot of last year's blog on the New Moon in Libra, with some current updates.
Happy New Moon in Libra~! Happy New Beginnings!
This New Moon took place on Tuesday Sept. 27, 2011 at 12:41 AM EST.
A new moon, of course, is when the Sun and the Moon come together to form a
partnership in the same sign. That is why there is no Moon visible for a few days.
And at this time of year, the Autumnal Equinox just took place, creating that
balance between light and dark, night and day, hot and cold, summer and winter.
And Libra is THE sign of Relationships, Partnership and Marriage. It's Statement is "I Balance."
All relationships are a balancing act of giving and receiving.
The sign of Libra is ruled by Venus, the Goddess of Love.
Since Libra is a Cardinal Air Sign, it loves sharing new thoughts and ideas -
so, Walkin' and Talkin' is Libra's Thing!
And since Libra's Statement is "I Balance" -- well, bike riding is another nice way to get together!
Fall is a beautiful time for a bike ride...
Also, in order to get that relationship going, we need poetry!
Libra is also the Sign of Poetry.
So pour all your ushy gushy, moony goony feelings
out on paper, or on Facebook,
and share them with someone - !
or, go to a coffeehouse and listen to some poetry!
One of my favorite Libras is also a Facebook friend, Akka B. Cornelius,
or Akka Be, who has a wonderful Facebook site for her poetry
called Drunk Love Heart.
Her Birthday is today, October 7th, and is the same as National Poetry Day in the U.K.
