Happy Full Moon In Taurus! Letting Go Of The Old To Make Room For the New!
Happy Full Moon In Taurus!
This coming Thursday, at approximately 3:16 PM EST, the Moon in Taurus will be
180 degrees opposite of the Sun in Scorpio.
Taurus is a fixed, YIN, Earth Sign.
Taurus usually relates to Money and Values,
and Taurus' statement is "I Have" or "I Possess" --
(Reminder from my last blog: Scorpio's statement is "I Desire")
When you truly appreciate and show gratitude for what you HAVE,
then Life is more peaceful, and one feels like the
peaceful little bull shown above.
So the question is, "Do You Desire What You Have?"
Full Moons are great for letting go of old stuff, so I am letting go of alot
of things that no longer serve me.
Below is another peaceful expression of Taurus.
Besides the Full Moon in Taurus, there is another celestial event taking place
this week.
A very large Asteroid is traveling between the Earth and the Moon.
Asteroid
Although it poses no danger to Earth physically,
I believe there is a spiritual significance to this Asteroid.
Since the Moon rules our emotions, something large coming
between the Earth and the Moon could have the effect
of throwing our emotions and our sense of connection out of balance.
On top of that, we are beginning the Mercury Storm, leading up
to the next Mercury Retrograde on November 23rd. Mercury Retrograde,
of course, affects communication.

And, since Taurus is associated with the Throat Chakra,
the question becomes, "Are you speaking your Truth these days?"
I once wrote a very edgy, hard-rock, Taurus-type song
with my co-writers called "Give Me What I Want."
Although we wrote it years ago,
this song seems to be right in line with the
Occupy Wall Street Movement, as well as the
current state of the world, especially Greece and Italy.
It seems as though a LOT of people are speaking
their truth!

Give Me What I Want Clip
Now, many people think that security and happiness would come
from standing on a pile of money.
But this picture shows Life is lonely and dry at the top
if we are only motivated by financial wealth.
Especially when we see the World Financial markets in crisis,
we recognize that true security does NOT come
from this outside wealth.
So, this is also a time to let go of old belief systems, concepts, reality
structures, and safety nets.
And this same week, on Friday, 11/11/11, many are choosing to do
a global meditation together to connect on a higher level.

Just enjoy the peaceful beauty and abundance that is overflowing in Nature.
That is my favorite experience of Taurus.
